A tragic brother and sister from The Silmarillion.

Aredhel marries a total bastard who tries to kill their child--she saves him, but dies in the process.

Turgon lost the love of his life while crossing lots of snowy ice, then his daughter marries a mortal, then he dies as his kingdom burns.

Jeez, J.R.R., lighten up yeah?

Well, that was a very uplifting story.
:icongalenrandir:
Yeah Aredhel's story always makes me depressed.
Great sketch btw! :)

The idea is to die young as late as possible.

Can't be more depressing than The Children of Hurin...that seriously made me want to go cut myself after I was done reading it.

lol yeah it does seem like Tolkien had a lot of sad stories huh? ^^; I really like Turgon's crown.

Lol, whatever you're saying Turgon, Aredhel is NOT listening. She's watching a butterfly or something. I love the look on Turgon's face he's like, "what ARE you looking at?"

Wedge and Sis:...wha??

STOP CURING THE ENEMY

Stop it, that's the lollipop song and you're making it evil

I just LOL'd! She's like "La la la" and he's like "Uh...what?"
:iconchorsahgryphon:
not as tragic as Turin and Nienor/niniel! surely you know THAT story!
:iconkidagreenleaf:
Oooh yeah that's pretty twisted....
